219/365 Marilyn and Ernie

I run into them at the bar the night they’re celebrating their first wedding anniversary. You mean these seventy-somethings decided to stop living in sin? I’m very nearly disappointed. Marilyn tells us giddily, when the shade’s drawn on the front door, don’t bother knockin’.

I have known Ernie for ten years, Marilyn shortly before they married. They continue to renew my faith in Love!

BK: No doubt you remember this very night. Marilyn was one of the first people I met in West Pawlet and is one of the sweetest I've ever met. When she moved away from the 'hood and in with Ernie, I was selfishly bummed out to lose such a great neighbor. But no one deserves this kind of happiness more than she does! (Hey, when ya gonna put up another post?)
