61/365 Tony

The new guy in our row blocked the view to my seat, so my companions waved to my blank confusion. At the tight squeezepast and startling recognition, I mustered only “Hi. I love your show,” sadly not “That last scene of Big Night? Perfection.”

"Squeezepast" is wondrous, as is Mr. Shalhoub, of course. His older brother was just a contestant on American Inventor (I forget what his invention was, but it was pretty lame), and didn't make the cut. At least he didn't try to use his sibling to score points with the judges.

I thought I saw another Shalhoub on some opening Monk credits recently, but then neglected to pick him out while watching...

That would be his brother Michael, who has appeared in two episodes, playing two different characters. This past season he played Ned the Beekeeper in "Mr. Monk Bumps His Head."
