The bad boy I had to like, the Jordan Catalano to my Angela Chase. Sat behind me in biology when he showed up. Got me to not show up. Moved away. His friend said she’d heard he died. It hurt how pretty she was.

I always felt sorry for that curly-haired kid who wasn't cool enough for Angela.
Ok, do I risk revealing my literary or cultural ignorance by asking who are Jordan Catalano and Angela Chase?
Deloney: Yes, Brian Krakow. Poor kid. And the show got canceled before they could play that one out.
FRA: My So-Called Life, TV show in the mid-90s. At the time, best high-school angst thing I'd ever seen on TV. If you get really curious and have time on your hands, I can loan you DVDs.
