126/365 Mark

He would gush excessively about Alison’s beauty, but call her high maintenance (the pot calling the kettle black). He lived in the Dakota. Eventually got married, had a kid, moved into a multiple-storied house nearby, got tired of stairs, moved back to the Dakota.

If it's in NY it's the swanky apartment building where John Lennon got it.

Deloney's right. The only reason the likes of me could get near a place like that was because somehow my sister met this guy. But I don't see me getting any invitations anytime soon, unless Yoko realizes what she's missing out on by not being my friend.

There may be one more Dakota-dropping 365 in the future.

indigo: a few days ago I went through the archives of 365ers to read stuff I never got around to reading, and I posted comments and all that. Do people get "alerts" in their e-mail to tell them when people comment on old stuff? I think I do mostly but who knows.

Hmmm. No, I don't get alerts, although that may be because I don't know how to set it up. I'll check out potential new comments soon. Thanks for the heads up.
