338/365 A Fourth Paul

We met repeatedly—but only—on the Dance Flurry floor. He had a mean swing, and his signature move was a full dip at swing’s end. Exhilarating. Last I swung him, he was on his way to seminary. Truly a man of some god.

People with that kind of rhythm shouldn't be celibate.

"Last I swung him"--gee, I live it when you use euphemisms!

Nate: The good news is, I don't think he was going to that kind of seminary.

SY: You're asking for it. (Ooops, there I go again. And yeah, you do live it.)

I'd also like to mention something about the "Truly a man of some god" part.
I.B.'s dance god perhaps?

These postings are so educational; I've never heard of the Dance Flurry. Another thing to put on my "to do before I die" list.

Love that last line!

Bridgett: I'm not surprised.

Helen: I was all set to go last year, the first time in a long time, when a freak storm closed down Saratoga Springs for the weekend. I plan to be there this year, probably just for a day. Let me know if you're planning to show up.

That would be fun! I'm a terrible dancer; I should probably take a year of lessons first. Will you still be in blog-touch next year?

Helen: I hope to start something else up after this is done (perhaps a tad less ambitious). That is, if I can figure out how to set up a blog again! AND, once the real flurry schedule is up, check it out. Lots of beginners' sessions.
