351/365 Another Jon
The registrar-turned-curator acted as my personal docent during those early days of my museum job. No one since has both known and cared so well for the collection. I began making Vermont friends by asking him and his girlfriend to go see Spalding Gray.

I remember the day I came to visit, and how at 12:15 p.m. everything in the office came to a screeching halt as Jon made sure we all listened to the extended "Eye on the Sky" weather report on Vermont Public Radio.
I know very little about Spalding Gray, though I've meant to learn more. This gives me an incentive - if Indigo Bunting recommends something, it's got to be good.
Spalding was one of a kind. I really miss him.
